As I write this, I'm following the news about the "major crisis" that our economy is facing, and am watching the reaction by the government, news, analysts, and my friends and family.
I don't pretend to understand macro-economics, and I can't say for certain that the events on Wall Street won't gradually or immediately trickle-down to our neck of the woods, but I would like to present some optimistic news: things are definitely busy at Lets Go Banners, and as I visit prospects and customers, people seem to be doing business, enjoying life, and pushing forward with the great U.S. entrepreneurial spirt.
In fact, for three days in a row, there were TWO cruise ships in Kona, many tourists walking around, and a lot of traffic on Ali'i drive.
Are there problems? Sure. Do we face challenges? Absolutely. But I will definitely say that the people are
